Bush Will Attend Olympic Opening

TOYAKO, Japan — At a press conference Sunday, US President George W. Bush defends his recent decisions of removing North Korea from list of state sponsors of terrorism and attending the Olympic open ceremonies next month in Beijing. The white house said Thursday that Bush is planning to attend the in celebration of the sport. Bush has gone on record earlier this year saying he doesn’t view the Olympics as a political even. “I view it as a sporting event.”
