Bush Will Attend Olympic Opening

TOYAKO, Japan — At a press conference Sunday, US President George W. Bush defends his recent decisions of removing North Korea from list of state sponsors of terrorism and attending the Olympic open ceremonies next month in Beijing. The white house said Thursday that Bush is planning to attend the in celebration of the sport. Bush has gone on record earlier this year saying he doesn’t view the Olympics as a political even. “I view it as a sporting event.”
This comes as no surprise despite the boycott by other G8 leaders including Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Chinese human rights record has fueled much discussion by world leader to attend or not. It would be more of a surprise if George W. Bush wasn’t planning to attend because it would mean that he would be missing a significant pagan ceremony. As a regular attendee to Bohemian grove, George W is heavily involved with the ritualistic practice of sacrifice.
In 393AD, the Roman emperor Theodosius banned the Olympic games for “being too pagan”. Originally, athletes would sacrifice animals to the God of Zeus before competing. Then in 393AD when the pagan rituals were banned, interest for the games diminished. It wasn’t until Hitler revitalized the games in 1936 that pagan traditions were reintroduced.
Since then the opening ceremonies have been a venue for openly displaying these rituals but presented in such a way that most wouldn’t notice except the those in the know.
