At the same time, North Korea was test firing missiles to show their dominance in the reign and would take the blame for the attacks.
The timing of these attack is questionable because the US is preparing to vote on the controversial cybersecurities act that would bring in sweeping new powers to control the flow of information on the internet.

The attacks happened more then a week ago and failed to keep the public on 24/7 panic alert. However, US security officials have now pressed the panic button again because the they are now reporting that that the damage is more wide spreed then originally thought. They now believe that a worm virus is cause havoc, destroying critical files on the infected computers.
